Understanding Lawn Nutrients

The health and appearance of your lawn depend on three primary nutrients: Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium. Each plays a crucial role in your lawn's development:

Nitrogen (N)
  • Promotes leaf growth and green color

  • Enhances lawn density

  • Improves lawn's ability to recover from stress

Phosphorus (P)
  • Stimulates root growth

  • Aids in seed development

  • Helps plants use and store energy

Potassium (K)
  • Improves overall lawn health and disease resistance

  • Enhances drought tolerance and cold hardiness

  • Helps lawn withstand wear and tear
